Electrical Repair Services for Orlando Homes and Businesses
Outlet, Switch and GFCI Repairs
Dead outlets and non-responsive switches are among the most common calls we receive across Orlando, but the underlying causes vary dramatically by neighborhood. In College Park or Audubon Park bungalows, the issue is often very old wiring or ungrounded outlets. In Conway or MetroWest homes from the 1980s, it tends to be aging GFCIs at end of life. In Baldwin Park new construction, it is occasionally a defect in original installation. In any case, we locate the source fast, replace the faulty devices, and test every outlet on the affected circuit before we leave.
Circuit Breaker and Electrical Panel Repairs
An older panel is not just an inconvenience. In a Central Florida home, it is a safety concern. Orlando's housing stock spans more than a century, and panel conditions vary widely. Historic homes in Lake Eola Heights or Thornton Park often have undersized original panels that cannot handle modern HVAC, EV chargers, or pool equipment. Newer condos and high-rises have their own panel and meter complexities. We diagnose breaker faults, replace failing breakers, and advise when a panel upgrade is the safer long-term solution.
Whole-Home and Circuit Wiring Repairs
Orlando's oldest neighborhoods, including College Park, Lake Eola Heights, and parts of Audubon Park, contain homes that may still have knob-and-tube wiring remnants or aluminum wiring (common in 1960s and 1970s construction). Storm season further compounds wiring issues throughout the city. We trace damaged circuits, replace compromised wiring, identify outdated wiring types in historic properties, and verify repairs with load testing before sign-off.
Lighting Repairs, Indoor and Outdoor
Whether it is a vintage fixture in a historic College Park bungalow, a landscape lighting circuit that went dark after a surge, commercial lighting in a Thornton Park restaurant, or specialty lighting in a downtown high-rise condo, we handle diagnostic and repair work on all types of lighting systems. We also install dimmer upgrades, LED retrofits, and ceiling fan wiring for homeowners updating their properties.
Emergency Electrical Repairs
Some electrical problems cannot wait until Monday morning. Burning smells from a panel, sparking outlets, sudden loss of power to part of your home, or a breaker that will not reset are conditions that require same-day attention. Super Fast Electric offers emergency electrical service throughout the City of Orlando, including weekends. Call (321) 370-6898 and we will dispatch immediately.
Appliance and Equipment Electrical Connections
Installing a new range, dryer, hot tub, EV charger, or whole-home generator? Dedicated circuits and proper load calculations matter, especially in older Orlando homes where original panels may not have the capacity to safely support the addition. We handle appliance electrical connections and new circuit installations for both residential and commercial properties, with all City of Orlando permit requirements handled by our team.
Electrical Safety Inspections
Buying a home in Orlando, or simply unsure what shape your existing electrical system is in? Our safety inspections cover your panel, outlets, wiring, grounding, and AFCI/GFCI protection status, giving you a clear picture of what is working, what needs attention, and what can wait. Safety inspections are especially valuable in Orlando given the wide age range of housing across different neighborhoods.
Why Orlando Homeowners and Businesses Face Unique Electrical Repair Needs
Orlando is one of the largest and most diverse residential and commercial markets in Florida, and its electrical service profile reflects that complexity. Different neighborhoods produce different electrical patterns, and a contractor working across the city has to understand all of them.
Did you know that the City of Orlando spans more than a century of construction, from 1910s and 1920s historic bungalows in College Park and Lake Eola Heights to brand-new high-rise condos and master-planned communities? Few cities in Florida combine this much housing diversity in such a compact footprint.
City of Orlando Permitting for Electrical Work
Electrical work within City of Orlando limits is permitted and inspected through the City of Orlando Building Division, which is separate from Orange County. The two jurisdictions overlap geographically in unincorporated Orange County areas, but properties addressed within Orlando city limits go through the City. A licensed electrician working in Orlando needs to be familiar with the City of Orlando’s specific submittal requirements, inspection process, and code interpretation, not just the general Florida Electrical Code.
Super Fast Electric is licensed and insured in Florida (License #EC13013514) and routinely pulls and closes permits through the City of Orlando for electrical work throughout the city. If your project requires a permit, we handle the filing. You will not be left managing the permit process yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions
What warranties are offered for electrical repairs?
Our warranty coverage ranges from 1 year to 10 years, depending on the scope of the repair or installation. Larger repairs, upgrades, or installations may qualify for longer warranty coverage, and customers who are part of our VIP Maintenance Club may receive extended warranty protection.
One important exception is temporary or “band-aid” repairs. If we complete a temporary repair to safely restore power while a proper part or permanent solution is being arranged, that temporary repair is not warrantied. Once the proper repair is completed, the applicable warranty coverage goes into effect.
